Evidence and Test Results
A recent document for cleaning facilities exposed to 2019-nCOV published by The European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control (ECDC) confirms that our unique ingredients and formulation processes are effective against coronavirus at an in-use concentration of 0.05%. The mixture of biocides in a 2% solution would exceed this level by a considerable margin so it is safe to assume that is effective against 2019-nCOV when used at this concentration.
While there is standardized test for long term effect, or removal of surface biofilm, our extensive tests conducted by Cheshire Scientific indicate long term efficacy of our product on biofilm disruption and removal of harmful surface contamination with ongoing protection which prevents the build-up of viruses and germs.

Recent testing under controlled conditions:

Pseudomonas aeruginosa + Pseudomonas denitrificans
The product did give a log kill of 4 after 5 minutes for Pseudomonas aeruginosa + Pseudomonas denitrificans for Neat, 10% and 1% concentrations. This is a Pass for this reference strains used. ‘In accordance with EN 13697:2015, the product Clean & Protect, when tested at neat concentration, 10% concentration, and 1% concentration, does possess antibacterial activity on surfaces in 5 minutes at 20°C under dirty conditions (3g/l bovine albumin) for referenced strains Pseudomonas aeruginosa + Pseudomonas denitrificans.’. Our Science
Over the last 30 years, we have spent a lot of time and effort creating a product that is suitable for any cleaning application.
Some species of germs are so strongly absorbed by certain surfaces, that ordinary detergents can only remove a small proportion of them.

Ceramics, glass and stainless steel were the easiest to clean, with up to 95% of STAPH AUREUS removed by ordinary detergents, compared with only 56% of other germs removed by other chemicals.
Comparing these figures for plastics (melamine surfaces, polythene cups, Tupper-Ware and nylon cutting boards), only 64% of S.AUREUS and 31% E.COLI were removed.
After an initial test of approximately 500 samples initial findings highlighted a desperate need for a radical change in the way we clean today. This led to the development of a totally new and revolutionary product Clean & Protect.
All types of plastic surfaces developed a build-up of a bacterial film many times greater than other surfaces.
Because these surfaces are extremely porous dirt, algae and bacteria, can exist deep beneath the surfaces and are extreamly difficult to remove.

Not only does this potentially cause a severe risk to human health, but also cause unsightly damage to exterior surfaces due to excessive build up of dirt, algae, germs and other surface contaminants.

Even after cleaning with strong disinfectants, the germs count on plastics was only reduced by an average of 15%. This level of contamination was far higher than any other surface.
This indicated that using disinfectants was not the answer to lower germ counts.
It was also found, that repeated washing of dirty items caused a build up of bacterial form on all the recently cleaned surfaces. Only temperatures in excess of 98 degrees C where able to reduce these germ counts, which is not always possible in a working environment.

Clean & Protect uses an electrostatic neutralisation system, which not only removes deeply ingrained soiling but also prevents the reformation of surface contaminants , such as dirt, algae, germs and insects infestation, this is visibly evident on the pictures taken of these old caravans showing no reformation of mould and algae after one year.

One year after the test clean on this section of the caravan, no mould and dirt regrowth, was visible in that section.
